And if it is, then how much personal content is acceptable?

I come from a niche where I provide a heavy dose of informational and infotainment content.

In such niches, people often don't appreciate personal content. However, this entirely depends on your niche. If you are a lifestyle coach, fashion blogger, or daily vlogger, people are more likely to find your personal updates entertaining.

Therefore, before uploading personal content on your niche profile, analyze the niche and study your audience carefully.

I regularly follow and analyze my follower growth on Instagram, and you can do it too.

Here's how:

1. Click on the reel you want to analyze.

2. Tap on the option in the bottom right corner.

3. Select 'View Insights.

This way, you can analyze the reach, engagement, watch time, and more. You can also access Insights by going to settings and analyze the data available there.

Always reanalyze based on timeframes like the last 7 days, 1 day, or 30 days to get a more detailed understanding of which reels are performing well and which ones need improvement."
