1) Latest Instagram Update

Instagram has made some recent changes to how and where video metrics are displayed on the platform.

For Reels in particular, the view count is no longer shown in the bottom left corner of the video player as it previously was.

This was done to optimize the video experience for users and de-emphasize metrics.

While creators still have access to view counts and other insights in their Instagram analytics dashboard, the numbers are not prominently displayed on the public Reel itself.

This aligns with Instagram's focus on encouraging authentic content sharing over competitive metrics.

Creators will need to rely on other engagement data like likes and comments to gauge Reel performance.
