Instagram Provides Increased Privacy Options for Likes
Instagram is giving users more control over their experience by allowing the optional hiding of like counts on individual posts.
As part of efforts to create a less pressurized environment, the ability to choose whether or not the number of likes is displayed is now available to all accounts.
To utilize this privacy setting, access any post and select "Hide Like Count" from the three dot menu.
This will remove the public display of like counts for that post while retaining the ability for the poster to view it.
The update emphasizes Instagram's focus on empowering users and prioritizing wellbeing in how people experience the platform.
