By swiping left on a direct message conversation or pressing and holding it, you can select the "Pin" option to fix that chat at the top of your inbox.
Pinned threads will remain prominently displayed above other messages, making recent exchanges with key contacts immediately visible without scrolling.
This is particularly useful for organizational or business accounts that may receive high volumes of direct messages daily.
The pinning feature allows users to efficiently manage their inboxes by highlighting their most pertinent message streams.
Conversations can be unpinned at any time by repeating the same tapping or swiping gesture on a pinned thread and selecting the "Unpin" option.
This provides flexibility to adjust pinned chats as messaging needs and priorities evolve over time.
